The option configures the Propaq monitor with

Carolinas Medical Center, our 843 bed Re- gional Trauma Center, is seeking a Chief Flight Nurse for MEDCENTER AIR, our Emergency Air Ambulance transport service. MEDCEN- TER AIR handles over 2000 transports per year utilizing two rotor-wing aircraft, one fixed- wing aircraft, and a mobile intensive care unit.

As a Level 1 Trauma Center and major referral center, MEDCENTER AIR transports major trauma, cardiac, orthopedic injuries, major burns and critical pediatric, adult, and neonatal patients.

Responsibilities include 24 hr. account- ability for staffing, scheduling, interviewing, evaluating, as well as team development. The position requires involvement in all aspects of emergency transport from R/W and F/W to ground transport services.

Qualifications include a minimum of 5 years Critical Care and/or Emergency Nursing experience with at least 3 years recent flight nurse experience. Management experience required. BSN required; Masters preferred. Must be ACLS, BTLS and PALS certified.
