Historical dates of Interest Bunker Hill Mining Complex 1886 - First mill built 1887 - Bunker Hill & Sullivan Mining Co. incorporated 1912 - Present mill constructed 1917 - Lead smelter went on line 1938 - Froth flotation installed at mill 1954 - First sulfuric acid plant added to zinc plant 1960 - Phosphoric Acid & Fertilizer plant constructed 1965 - Central Impoundment Area started receiving mine drainage water

1973 - Severe fire in main baghouse 1974- dividing dike constructed across CIA to provide separate area

for gypsum discharge1975 1977 - 710 foot stack added to smelter, & 600-ft stack added to zinc plant 1981 - Smelter and Mill Complex were closed by Gulf Resources & Chemical  1982 - Cleanup efforts started and hazardous materials shipped offsite 1983 - Bunker Hill Site added to Superfund National Priority List- Third lead health/environmental study 1984 - EPA proposed a Federal Implementation Plan (FIP) for lead 1993 - Lead Health Intervention began in earnest as yards removals

We have at least three locations (Repositories) where emergency response waste can be temporarily laid down, pending testing and treatment

We have equipment that is available to handle and contain most ER wastes Between May 1 and November 1

But the costs of special handling and disposal will be borne by the RP, and must be agreed to in and Voluntary Consent Order with IDEQ
