Organiser has a fully integrated database. It’s powerful ‘Find’ tool allows searches to be performed on name, reference, description and key words.

Traditionally small lettering can be problematic, this is because the satin columns become too thin and characters with holes such as e’s tending to close up. The ground breaking Smart Text feature will automatically adapt and adjust a font to suit a chosen size, resulting in superior quality and well defined lettering.

Monogramming contains a library of designs suitable for personalisation. Simply load a Monogram design, replace the lettering as required and then embroider.

In addition to the monograms there are also preset lettering deform tools.

Editing SystemsWRITER

Writer allows you to have control over your embroidery designs as well as producing all your own monogramming. Designs may be rescaled manipulated and the density adjusted. Use simple copy and paste tools to merge designs or parts of designs together to create new ones.Lettering may be created following any path with specialist styles for small lettering. Our innovative Set Base Fabric tool changes the stitching to suit the material it will be embroidered on, ensuring that the quality of the lettering is outstanding on any fabric.

Creative Writer is our highest level of Editing software, offering the ultimate in design control. It has all the capabilities of Writer, plus many powerful features to provide unlimited editing capabilities.

The AutoStitch Image tool enables a variety of different image files including jpeg, bmp, tiff to be converted to stitch data automatically. Ideally the image files need to be good quality camera ready artworks. The tool will then analyse the image file, assess the number of colours in the image and interpret the colours into either running stitch, satin stitch or fill/step stitch. Once converted it is possible to edit the outlines/stitches if required.

The user friendliness of the Innovator software means that embroiderers of any experience can easily begin to digitise their own designs.Automatic features like Auto Reflect and Bordering tools are included to help neaten up poor artwork. EMBLEMSThe Emblems feature provides a selection of over 90 useful shapes, shields and scrolls. This tool also allows you to automatically add borders.

VECTOR CONVERSIONIn addition to image conversion Vector files may also be loaded into Ethos and converted automatically to stitches using the AutoStitch Vector tool.

COSTINGS FEATUREThe Costings feature is included in all the Digitising and Editing levels. It will automatically calculate how long a design will take to stitch on a particular machine, the cost per run and per garment and even how much thread you will need to order. An invaluable tool for all embroiderers.

AUTO REFLECT FEATUREMake creating symmetrical shapes simple and accurate with the innovative Auto Reflect feature. Digitise 1 side of a shape and Ethos will automatically mirror the other side. This feaure is available for all stitch types. If you edit a point, the software automatically moves its reflected point.

STEP CUT AWAYThis feature will ‘cut away’ any fill/step stitch blocks that are covered by another area of stitching. This tool helps you to remove any unnecesary stitching, making the design quicker to run and not as dense.

SNAPSHOT FEATURESnapshot offers ultimate design viewing. Display all blocks/outlines in sequence and reorder by simply dragging and dropping. Also view designs by colours/needle change or by stitch effect.

BORDERING TOOLSAutomatically add any combination of borders to an object. Border satin around satin, running line around satin, along with many other combinations.

STITCH EFFECTSBring creativity to your designs by using any of the 180 inclusive stitch effects. Choose from Fill, Running and Satin patterns to produce decorative results and even reduce final stitch counts.

AUTOMATIC APPLIQUÉThis innovative feature allows you to automatically transform vectors or digitised outlines into an appliqué design.Having selected the object you wish to appliqué you can specify an effect to ‘mark out’ the appliqué, apply a frame movement and stop, allowing placement of the appliqué, followed by cover stitches to finish the design.

PATH COPYPath copy is an excellent tool for repeating objects around a  specified shape. Simply select the object you wish to copy, specify the number of copies and the path you would like to follow. The software will automatically generate the copies with equal spacing in-between.

SATIN SERIALSatin Serial allows you to automatically digitise even width satin borders.

CUSTOMISED FONTSAlthough Ethos comes with over 250+ satin stitch fonts pre-installed, Virtuoso Plus gives you the opportunity to create your own fonts by either converting a True Type font or digitising your own. Modifications may also be made to any existing fonts if required.

MAKE EMBROIDERY OBJECTThe Make Embroidery Object tool allows you to turn multiple sections into one object. This removes all thread trims and jump stitches making the design more efficient on the machine. This tool may also be used on designs previously digitised in Ethos.

STITCH CREATION & ADVANCED STITCH EFFECT SETTINGSVirtuoso Plus allows you to create your very own stitch effect patterns, ensuring nothing stands in the way of your creativity.
