This summary certificate is based on evidence of satisfactorily passing further tests required by standards referred to in the BS EN ISO 9241, Part 5 and additional ergonomics testing and evaluation carried out by FIRA Ergonomics Unit.

The Embody task chair range is considered to be capable of meeting the minimum requirements as stated in the Annex of the European Commission's Display Screen Equipment (DSE) Directive (90/270/EEC) and the minimum requirements as stated in the Schedule of the Health and Safety (Display Screen Equipment) Regulations, 1992 as amended by the Health and Safety Regulations 2002. Therefore, the Embody task chair range is suitable for use at the DSE workstations.
