INTRODUCTIONELSYIAN is a Hinckley 64 centre cockpit ketch with a teak decks plus an aft Owner’s cockpit (New teak aft cockpit deck ‐ 2012). Last of the Hinckley 64’s built and offers a hard‐top with full enclosure – assures comfort in all conditions.
The Hinckley 64 is a true classic with a well‐protected centre cockpit "Command Centre", as well as a smaller private cockpit aft of the master stateroom. She has two guest staterooms forward each with a private head, a large master stateroom aft with a full bath and head and a crews cabin, head and shower forward. The interior is finished in varnished teak wood, there are opening ports in the cabin for extra light and ventilation, fully air conditioned through‐out, with a Bose sound system.
The raised main saloon has large fixed windows, a layout that has gained in popularity over the years. The master stateroom aft has access to its own private cockpit that includes remote navigation and helm controls. The guest staterooms are forward port and starboard each with it's own private ensuite head. The crew cabin is in the forepeak and has its own head. To port of the companionway is the galley, this forms the walk‐thru to the master cabin & en‐suite heads. To starboard is the workroom and engine room access. With twin screws, she can motor at hull speed with either engine and enjoys the benefits of both engines around the dock. She is a fine sailing yacht. Her centreboard allows modest draft, 5'9" board up. She has a tall rig for plenty of power under sail. She is equipped to be handled easily short‐handed. The interior of the yacht is finished in a traditional Herreshoff design of Oak trim over white panelling. The updating of the interior has been tastefully
The crew quarters with full head facility is forward followed by two separate heads with common shower for the port & starboard Guest Staterooms. The Main Salon has an L‐Shaped Dinette to port and to starboard is a settee/berth & entertainment centre, just aft to starboard is a Navigation Station and aft of the Navigation Station is an enclosed Utility Room.
