Unbelievably, another two terms have flown by and we are heading into a new school year! There have been many fantastic achievements for Castle Community to be proud of! This is down to everyone in Castle Community: teachers, support staff, midday meal supervisors and, of course, our wonderful children who make our community shine bright! I have really enjoyed leading Castle

Community this year and seeing the great achievements of all the children. I will be returning to Iwade to teach there and am sure Mrs Barnett will continue to support the success of our community. I will however be popping back to see how everyone is getting on.

Have a lovely summer and stay safe wherever and whatever you do. Mrs Stewart looks forward to welcoming you back on Monday 2nd

September 2019 for lots of fun and learning!

Sports Day 2019

This year saw more sporting success in our community sports day. Children took part in a range of track and other sporting events. All pupils strived to achieve their best and a

big WELL DONE to RED team for their triumphant win this year!

Again we would like to take this opportunity to thank our great P.E. team for organising and running this event.

Sophia in Scotney – “I really liked the races and I won my race!”

We are looking forward to…

In term 6, Castle Community took part in 3 successful transition afternoons in which pupils got to meet their new teachers. This term we have been thinking

Good Luck to all pupils in Castle Community as they move up to their new

Introducing our new Community Lead – Mrs Barnett

I am very excited to take on the role of Castle Community Leader and continue the work of Miss Fisher as we move into the new academic year. I look forward to supporting all Year groups as we strive to be Reading champions and aim for every child to be reading at home at least 5 times a week. Come on Castle Community we can do it!

In September, we shall start to plan our next Community Day following the success of our ‘Be an Artist’ event.

Stay safe over the summer holidays, enjoy time with your families and loved ones and I shall see you all in September ready for another exciting year of new learning opportunities. It’s going to be a great

year!
