Eliza Doolittle appears to conveyed in quite a quirky sense, she appears to be very art inspired and confident, which is signified by the look in her eyes in addition to her classic pose with her hands. Her direct eye contact displays how bold her character is, yet her mysterious look and offers quite sassy connotations. Doolittle isn’t afraid of being an individual, her attire as well as attire isn’t commercial, but rather eclectic. I state that as this outfit would not be sold in a high street store, but from a range of stores tailored to her preference.

Doolittle produces the following genre of music; Pop and Indie-pop. The genre of music she produces, is a clear indication of who she is as a person. Also successfully conforming to the conventions of the genre of music she performs, in relation to her self-assured and unorthodox characteristics along with her style.

Her public persona revolves around being confident, care free and ultimately being a creative individual. Her attributes work very well for her. Just recently she was featured on a track with a relatively new duo named “Disclosure”, which she stipulated that “We just started vibing to all our favourite old school garage records and then sat and wrote “You & Me” in one day.”. Her characteristics prove to be potent at all times!

• “I am really trying to step my game up and I think you always try with each album to grow as an artist and I really hope that I have this time.”• “I think I’m a bit of an anal perfectionist and someone recently told me to just let go a little bit. I am a huge control freak and it has definitely got the best of me sometimes so that piece of advice has been truly helpful. Now I am just trying to go with the flow a little bit more and try not to be so crazy about every tiny detail.”• “How my heart felt at that time and then there are also some songs that tell more about the outcome of things that I learned from it all.”_______________________________________________________________________________________________________

Overall, this interview consists of a discussion regarding her new album, collaboration with the duo Disclosure, as well as her background within the theatrical industry. Beginning to digress slightly, a question asking where her name stemmed from was mentioned, as well as factors that inspired her write certain songs prior to certain life situations, along with whether a tour would take place and how she spends her free time. http://pigeonsandplanes.com/2013/10/eliza-doolittle-interview/

Eliza Doolittle appears to be fond of clothing, however she doesn’t follow fashion but wears what she feels “comfortable in”. She states that she goes “through phases of liking things and then..” “on to the next thing.” Conclusively mentioning that she enjoys “having fun with” her style and things that fit her personality!

Eliza Doolittle evidently aims to fulfil her quirky brand person, which is conveyed through her unorthodox clothing which ranges from high street stores to market stalls. Doolittle expresses her love for fashion and is acknowledged for it in VOGUE Magazine, where she states her outfits and the brand for 28 days. She proves to be increasingly diverse, as she demonstrates mixing luxury and urban brands together: “Today I'm wearing a top by one of my favourite designers, Sonia Rykiel, with an Isabel Marant skirt from Start London, Office shoes, a limited edition Candy bag by Furla (which isn't available until April so I have a little preview!), a BAPE watch, Louis V earrings, and Charles Anastase for Linda Farrow sunglasses.” Her brand is invested in by her followers/fans as well as her record label, recently she appeared on a red carpet for the Attitude Awards in “a dazzling designer dress by Julien Macdonald which featured a plunging neckline and higher than thigh split.”

Eliza Doolittle’s fans expect nothing but cutting-edge, out of the ordinary outfits, anything less would be unusual to them. From a musical aspect, her fans are attached to her bouncy honest and 90s feel to her music. Doolittle’s following invest in her spontaneous personality, her audience appear to be a niche which is currently growing and slowly approaching the mainstream field. She constantly stays true to herself, she never sells out as this would be seen as being disloyal to her supporters.
