Arriving by Plane:From Orio al Serio (BGY) to Brescia (Bus): Direct bus from Orio al Serio to Brescia (5€) takes approx 30 minutes. Alternatively, OrioShuttle (5€) arrives in Milano Centrale (Train Station), reaching destination in 30 minutes. From there, trains to Brescia are available.

From Linate (MIL) to Brescia (Bus & train): The Shuttle Bus connects the airport to San Babila Metro Station. From there, the Central Train Station is only 8 minutes away on the Yellow Metro Line. Trains to Brescia are available every 30 minutes.

From Malpensa (MXP) to Brescia (Bus & train): Malpensa Shuttle reaches Stazione Centrale (10€) in 50 minutes trip. Alternatively, Malpensa Express takes only 30 minutes (12€). Trains to Brescia are available every 30 minutes.

Reaching Brescia By Train from Milano:

Regional Trains depart every hour from Milano reaching Brescia in 1h10 at a cost of 7€.

High speed train FrecciaBianca direction Venezia departs every 30min and reaches Brescia in 50min at a cost of 16,50€ [www.Trenitalia.com].

AccommodationWe have pre-booked rooms at Villa Fenaroli Palace Hotel for our international guests and all of you who are not living in Brescia. If you want to stay there let us know, as we are coordinating the bookings at a discounted price.

Villa Fenaroli was a renowned luxury estate of aristocratic families in the XVIII century. Today it is an exclusive hotel and conference center hosting events, art and business meetings.

The Hotel reserves to our guest a 20% discount on the standard fee for its rooms, offering Double Rooms for 60€ p/n and Single Rooms for 50€ p/n. The rate includes Room and Breakfast.

Visa: For the guests who are not EU citizens/residents, we advise to apply for tourist visa prior to arrival. Please contact your nearest Italian embassy and let us know if you need any assistance with Visa application.

LOGISTICAL INFORMATION

Caffè Loggia is located in Piazza della Loggia, one of the biggest square in the City Center.

If you come by car, you can find parking in “Parcheggio Vittoria” or “Castello”.

If you come by public transport, you can drop at any bus station in the City Center and reach the square in 5-10min walk.

What time: from 18.00 to 21.00 We will welcome you in Italy surrounded by historical buildings, whilst drinking a glass of Prosecco and tasting some of the traditional happy hour finger food.

The Catholic ceremony for interreligious marriage will be celebrated in the church of “Parrocchia di Santa Maria Nascente in Fiumicello”, where Elena was baptised and grew up. According to the Italian law, the religious function will have civil value too.

A 51 seater bus will be available, departing from Villa Fenaroli around 3.15pm and going back to Villa Fenaroli afterwards.

Please let us know if you intend to use it or if you will reach the church by yourself.

You are welcome to join us and our families for a brunch, and discover one of the most beautiful spots on the Garda Lake.

We will organise a transfer leaving from Villa Fenaroli around 11.30.

Please indicate in the final Guest List if you intend to join us, and if you would need transport so we can facilitate the arrangements accordingly.

According to tradition in Italy and Mozambique, money is usually given as a gift to the bride and groom as a way to contribute for their new journey as a married couple.

After all the travels for the wedding, we will go back to Mozambique to start this new chapter of our life together. Big plans are under construction, so if you would like to contribute to them, we would be happy if you followed the above traditions.
