This trend is almost oriental in appearance, it is flamboyant and daring but when acessorized correctly can be a huge success. Garden and tropical florals are mixed together to create an overall eye catching trend.

Pink is sometimes seen as a colour mostly worn my the younger age group but this sophisticated and elegant trend is focused at a sophisticated, elegant and fashion conscious woman. This trend creates a very rich vintage print but introduces fresh contemporary designs.

To get the look, think prints, water- down florals, bright colours and artificial hues, keep fabrics soft and flowing and prints subtle so you don’t look like you’re off to a fancy dress party.

Choose printed or decorated appliqued florals, anything goes! You could even try pyjama pants and blousy tops as separates, decorated in butterfly and blossom print.

look

To get the look wear shirt dresses with big floppy hats and sun glasses to glam it up. Lockets are also going the be a big fashion trend for summer 2012 and should be worn with every outfit! Mix animal prints with florals and polka dots to create a quirky and unique twist.

This trend is femenine and funky when different prints are mixed together. It consists mainly of garden colours and is something that a quirky, fashion forward country living woman would wear. It is edgy and the vintage floral prints gives the overall trend a feeling of nostalgia and pictures of a woman riding a old vintage bicycle with a basket on the front immediately comes to mind. This trend is fun and experimental, but you have to be brave to pull off the mixed print look well.

The picture of a cute little cottage in the country with baskets and gardens of flowers outside is most peoples idea of heaven. All of this can be represented through this English country couture trend. It is a truly unique look.

The way the sun rises and sets in winter is the inspiration for this trend. purple representing the icy cold. The way the water ripples on the surface is where the tye dye effect is derived from which is a huge trend this winter.

The sun setting shows where the beiges and purples come from within this winter trend. The frosty sky mixed with the sun is representative of the colour palette for the season. The dark shades of purple in the sky are very romantic and link to the evening romantic look which will be popular for winter 2012.

A Purple Winter

Although you may refrain from trying many pastel shades during winter, soft hues like purple, beige and cream in textured fabrics can give you a different look during the winter months. Interesting prints are also big for this winter, especially tye dye effects. Thick fabrics and furs are also very on trend this season.

The icy colours of the wimter months are shown through this stunning trend, much unlike the dull colours of some winter clothing , this trend embraces shades og purple, both dark and bright to create an interesting and eye catching look.

Purple hair, purple lipstick and purple nail varnish all should accompany this look. you can either go duller for daytime mixed with a bit of fur and some thick tights or skinny jeans or for nightime add a bit of sparkle to your wardrobe! and experiment wth acessories (preferably gold ) to produce a sophicated and elegant look . Kate Bush meets Aretha Franklin in the form of Florence Welch, the art-school pop

eccentric is a fashion icon to many.

Florence Welch has become a fashion icon, noticed for her red curls (although she is naturally a brunette) and a style that has been described as daring but nonchalant. As a teenager she read fashion magazines more often than music magazines. Early in her music career she dressed in a tomboy style. 2011 saw Gucci dressing her for her summer tour and a performance at the Chanel runway show at Paris Fashion Week. Welch describes 1970s American drag queen troupe Cockettes and French beatnik singer Françoise Hardy as fashion mentors. Welch has also named Stevie Nicks as a musical, fashion, and general influence. A Huffington Post entertainment article quotes her as telling a reporter that “I’’m pretty obsessed with Stevie Nicks

from her style to her voice. I like watching her on YouTube and her old performances, the way she moves and everything.”

Welch’sappearance is very androgynous. Her body and her facial features aren’t very feminine In reading descriptions of Welch, two terms appear over and over: pre-Raphaelite, which is usually used to describe the left-of-center effect of the way her shock of fiery hair frames her prominent features and cream-colored skin; and whirling dervish, which often refers to the bouncing, swaying hippie rain-dance she likes to do when she sings, she quoted ‘ I was always that girl growing up who you could find dancing down supermarket aisles.” Her vivid hair, pale face and frothy, flowing dresses give her the look of a white witch. Her friend travels with her and puts together stage costumes from a “dressing up box” stuffed with everything from floaty dresses to chain mail. At a recent concert she was wearing a metal dress and threw herself off the stage into the crowd, not realising how heavy it was : “it was a sort of Lady of the Lake thing as i

sank down, then rose up again.”
