Amenities: Shuttle Service

City National Plaza offers Shuttle Bus service for the convenience of our tenants. All tenants and theirguests are welcome to use the shuttle and may access our busses by showing their City National Plazaidentification card.

Services are offered along a designated route that connects City National Plaza to Union Station, the CivicCenter and shopping areas. Please note that the route has been approved and fixed by the city, and mayonly operate along designated routes and stops.

The shuttle service operates weekdays and commences service at Union Station at 6:30 a.m. and ceasesoperations at 6:30 p.m. The first shuttle departs from City National Plaza at 6:30 a.m. with the final departureto Union Station at 6:30 p.m. Shuttles operate to and from Union Station 7-8 minutes apart during peakmorning hours and every 7-8 minutes during peak evening hours. During the day, the route runs from CityNational Plaza as far as 8th Street, with stops at local shopping venues. The route also goes to the CivicCenter where it makes two stops along Temple Street to allow access to city, county and federal buildings.

The shuttle service also operates during Staples Center events. It departs and returns from City NationalPlaza on Flower Street and pickup and departs from Staples Center at the northeast corner of 11th andFigueroa across the street. Shuttles begin picking up at City National Plaza at 6:45 p.m. and runapproximately every 30 minutes until the event begins. The last pickup from Staples Center will be up to 45minutes after the event has concluded

The tenant information provided in this Electronic Tenant® Handbook is meant to provide you with a betterunderstanding of City National Plaza and to facilitate your company's operations. There is a great deal ofinformation contained within this handbook; take the time to familiarize yourself with this handbook and it willbecome a valuable resource for you and your company. Please note that the Building Management Office isavailable to help in any way possible. Your first call for any problem or question can always be directed tothe Building Management Office, and we will assist you from there.

Every attempt has been made to provide current and accurate information in this handbook, but it ispossible that some items will change over time. Welcome to City National Plaza, a premier CommonWealth Partners property!As one of the nation's largest high-rise office developments, City National Plaza (formerly ARCO Plaza)encompasses over 2.6 million square feet on a 4.2 acre super-block at 5th and Flower Streets in the centralbusiness district of downtown Los Angeles. Designed by noted Los Angeles architect Albert C. MartinAssociates, the project was the first major business center in the heart of the financial district and hasshaped the downtown Los Angeles skyline for over thirty years.

Completed in 1972 as the world headquarters for Atlantic Richfield Corporation, City National Plazaconsists of two 52-story office towers, a three-story central plaza level building and four subterranean levels.Covered in polished panels of Vermont Green granite and solar bronze glass, the towers rise 700 feetabove street level and establish a sophisticated environment for this centrally located business center. Themain plaza is accentuated by its central fountain and the Herbert Bayer sculpture "Ascension" while lowerlevel retail provides a variety of restaurants, shops, services and other amenities frequented by the projects'tenants as well as those visiting, living and working in Downtown.

City National Plaza bridges the Bunker Hill and South Park business and residential districts to reinforce LosAngeles' stature as one of the world's most dynamic cities. All of CommonWealth's properties participate in an annual E-waste event that typically takes place duringEarth Day week in April. Please contact the Property Management Office for the next scheduled E-wasteevent or to make a special request for pickup.

Sustainability: Indoor Air Quality Reporting

CommonWealth Partners has a comprehensive and robust Indoor Air Quality (IAQ) management andtesting program in place. In addition to high quality filtration and adherence to best-practices in cleaning, thebuilding is inspected and certified by Underwriters Laboratories (UL) as a Verified Healthy Building forIndoor Air Quality. Should you have any air quality questions or concerns, please contact your Office orFacility Manager.

The Office Manager should submit an online work order and an on-site staff member will bedispatched to follow up with it.Property Management will ensure that appropriate action is taken to mitigate the issue. Resolution isreported to the Office Manager.

Sustainability: Recycling Program

CommonWealth Partners fully supports waste reduction at this property. Our recycling program has a goalof recovering and recycling over 75% of the total waste that is generated at this site. Through this program,we want to educate you on how to reduce waste. Contact the Property Management Office to obtainrecycling containers that are available for your space.
