We specialize in medium to high technology assemblies in low (5) to medium (500,000) annual production quantities. EIT can also man- age high volume quantities in low cost regions (LCR). EIT manufactures, engineers and provides support for products in the medical, instrumentation, communica- tion, industrial control, safety, security and defense markets. Resources EIT’s facilities total 193,000 ft 2 and include two facilities in Sterling, VA and two facilities in Danville, VA. Our four facilities give EIT flexibility and the capacity to support your needs. Having our facilities in different re- gions builds in back-up and disaster recovery capabilities. EIT currently has over two hundred (200) staff members working multiple shifts. Quality EIT’s Quality Management System (QMS) is ISO 9001:2008 & ISO 13485:2003 registered. EIT work is based on IPC workmanship standards for electronic (IPC 610) as well as cable & wire harness assemblies (IPC 620). Our QMS extends to all EIT facilities and operations. EIT’s core business is providing Electronic Manufacturing Services (EMS). EIT has and continues to evolve to pro-vide customers with value-added engineering, assembly and related manufacturing services. We assign a Project Manager and work with each customer on an individual basis. While the majority of our work is turn-key with EIT pur-chasing materials, we can also work with customer supplied (all or partial) materials, especially on prototype builds. EIT supports quick turn prototype (1+ quantity) production in all EIT manufacturing areas.
