Professor Mark Orazem holds the ExxonMobil Chemical Engineering
Alumni and the University of Florida Research Foundation Term Profes-
sorships and is an Adjunct Professor at the Beijing University of Chemical
Technology. Professor Orazem is a Fellow of The Electrochemical Society
and served for ten years as Associate Editor for the Journal of the Elec-
trochemical Society. He has also served as President of the International
Society of Electrochemistry.
Professor Orazem has over 180 refereed publications and has co-
authored, with Bernard Tribollet of the CNRS in Paris, a popular textbook
entitled, Electrochemical Impedance Spectroscopy. The Chinese trans-
lation of this textbook was published by the Chemical Industry Press
in 2014. Professor Orazem serves as a consultant to a new international
graduate program at the University of Yamanashi in Japan, as well as to
a variety of industries. In 2012, Professor Orazem received the Henry B.

The Chinese translation of Prof. Mark Orazem’s book, Electrochemical Impedance Spectroscopy, co-authored by Bernard Tribollet, was published in 2014 by Chemical Industry Press under license from Wiley.
Mark Orazem and Bernard Tribollet autograph copies of the Chinese translation of their book, Electrochemical Impedance Spectroscopy. Prof. Orazem and Dr. Tribollet were highlighted speakers at the Advanced Symposium on Electrochemical Impedance Spectroscopy held October 21-22, 2014 at the Beijing University of Chemical Technology in Beijing, China.
Effective October 8, 2014, Prof. Orazem was named as an Adjunct Professor of the Beijing University of Chemical Technology. This appointment is intended to enhance collaboration between the electrochemical groups at the University of Florida and the Beijing University of Chemical Technology.
