that it takes to turn on a light switch
• One light bulb has enough electricity to
service 200,000 homes
Our society depends on
electricity!
We depend on electricity a lot
because we use it as a mobile
power, which means we use it to
power most of our vehicles.
• Many things depend on
electricity such as
lighting, television,
radio, computers,
telephones, and heating

We use electricity so that we can
do more things. We can cook food in
the microwave, see In the dark, get
transported somewhere by a
vehicle, use the internet, and
many more. All these things we use
on a daily bases comes from
electricity. Without electricity
our world would change and people
would start to freak out.
Electricity is an important thing
in life.
