In addition to developing skills in solar and small wind installation, you will receive extensive hands-on and theoretical training related to residential and commercial electrical installation as well as information on constructing, installing and maintaining small wind turbines and solar PV panels. Subjects include: shop, theory, blueprint reading and trade math. Course Dates: Jan. 14 – Apr. 19, 2013 Prerequisites: English 20-2, Math 20-3, Science 10 or Entrance Exam. Fee: $4,995 plus textbooks (approx. $350) and apprenticeship exam fee ($150) Training Curriculum: First year Alberta Apprenticeship Electrical curriculum will be taught.
