Re-testing Example: Gloveswithanoriginalmanufacturingtestdate of 01 Jan 2013 can be stored in full electrical compliance until 31 Dec 2013 and maybeissuedforuseatanytimewithinthat12monthperiod.Iftheglovesareissuedforuseatanytimeinthefirstyearfrom the date of the original manufacturers test,theuserhasamaximumof6monthsinservicetoremaincompliantwithinthestandard. Anyunissuedglovesthathavenotbeentestedwithintwelvemonthsoftheoriginalmanufacturing test date must be retested beforeissue.
