Applicant Foreword: The information requested is needed to evaluate your relative ability to perform the duties of a Line Technician. Please answer each question completely and accurately. Your responses must reflect your actual knowledge and skills. MCC is committed to providing equal opportunity for all persons regardless of disability, national origin, age, creed, race, religion or gender.

Drug and Alcohol Testing Notice:A lineman apprenticeship will require the operation of equipment requiring a commercial driver’s license (CDL). A motor vehicle records check will be conducted on your driving record to confirm you have a valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record. You are subject to random alcohol testing under Department of Transportation regulations. If offered a position in the program, you will be tested for the use of illegal drugs prior to beginning, and are subject to periodic unannounced random drug testing throughout the duration of the program. A determination of illegal drug use will result in non-selection and withdrawal, based upon your failure to meet the requirements of the program.
