Where are we get-ting our electrical design budgets? Are the new code changes cost prohibitive? Yes, but need to be adopted as energy rates continue to rise. What has been adopted locally? New codes are coming to our region of the U.S. This part of the program will be presented by Dan Oliva, E.E., Gibbens Drake Scott. Updated Utility Standards: The local power companies will review their electric service standards and any updates or recent changes you need to know about. This is your opportunity to learn how these standards have changed and how they will effect your projects. This part of the program will be presented by Courtney Conner, Board of Public Utilities; Brent Gerling, Independence Power & Light; and Andrew Alexander, Kansas City Power & Light. The program will be Wednesday, November 9, 2016 at the KCP&L Cedar Point Training Facility, 10058 Raytown Road, Kansas City, Mo. Eighty-four shooters came out to Powder Creek Shooting Range on October 5 for a beautiful Fall day of Clay shooting, food, prizes, beer tasting and networking. The winning team was Electri-cal Corporation of America (Nate Boetcher, Martin Mitchell, Ryan Sloan, Brad Wetzel, and Kyle Windisch) with a score of 398! Our Top Shooter Award went to
