The Maine fireplace is tremendously versatile. Two basic sizes are available to match either the 70w fire or the 110w fire and both of these fireplaces can be altered in size to suit your particular requirements.

Further options include adding side units to the left and right of the fireplace and these can also be made to any length – possibly even to provide space for a television. Another idea would be to have a Floor Shelf or a Media Shelf beneath the Base Unit.

The final touch would be some matching display shelves. These are very stylish and can of course be made-to-measure and secured to the wall using our fabulous Easy-fix system.

If you are looking to create a more ‘Country’ look to your living space the Barnstaple fireplace would be ideal. Made from solid oak beams, it features knots and splits that create a truly authentic appearance.

Note: ‘Rustic Oak’ has slightly distressed edges and smooth surfaces whilst ‘Aged Oak’ has more distressing on the edges and a textured surface.

The floor-standing Nevada fireplace can be made to suit the 70w Skope fire as well as the 110w versions. The illustrations show how two completely different effects can be achieved against a flat wall. See the back page for all the finishes that are available for the Nevada.

To finish. Use a fine nail punch to sink the pins below the surface. Then apply a small amount of Pollyfilla to fill the joint and the pinholes.

The support frame is fixed to the wall leaving a small gap above the fire to avoid resonance.

The right hand panel is then fixed onto the support frame by screwing through the pine batten.

Repeat the process with the left hand panel. The front panel is fixed in position with panel pins. These are nailed through pre-drilled holes in the side panels.

Introducing shelves into your living space can have a dramatic effect.

Here the inset SKOPE 105R has a made-to-measure shelf extending across the front of the chimney breast making a bold statement.

Additional display shelves to the side further enhance the look. All shelves can be manufactured to your exact sizes and in many cases they will be compatible with our Easy-fix system.

Ripon

Ripon in White and Grey Pearl Finish

For a truly ‘integrated’ look the Ripon combines a fireplace for the SKOPE 85R electric fire with a media centre that would be ideal for your television and Sky boxes etc. The Ripon suite can also be made larger to accommodate the longer SKOPE inset electric fires such as the 105R or the 135R.
