Since 1982, by God’s grace, the people of Community Bible Church have been able to progressively increase the number of missionaries we support. At present, we have 300+ missionaries worldwide. During the Coronavirus crisis it is our hope to be able to continue supporting these individuals. These men and women are on the frontlines of sharing the gospel with millions who desperately need Jesus Christ. In addition, we continue to be responsible for our operating expenses, many of which are fixed. The giving of your tithes and offerings is now more important than ever. 2 “HOW GREAT THOU ART” O Lord my God, when I in awesome wonder consider all the worlds Thy hands have made, I see the stars, I hear the rolling thunder, Thy pow'r thro'out the universe displayed. 3 “COME PEOPLE OF THE RISEN KING” Come, people of the Risen King, who delight to bring Him praise. Come all and tune your hearts to sing to the Morning Star of grace. From the shifting shadows of the earth we will lift our eyes to Him, Where steady arms of mercy reach to gather children in. (Chorus) Rejoice, Rejoice! Let every tongue rejoice! One heart, one voice, O Church of Christ, rejoice! Come, those whose joy is morning sun, and those weeping through the night. Come, those who tell of battles won, and those struggling in the fight. For His perfect love will never change, and His mercies never cease, but follow us through all our days with the certain hope of peace. (Chorus) Rejoice, Rejoice! Let every tongue rejoice! 4 “CHRIST THE SURE AND STEADY ANCHOR” Christ the sure and steady anchor in the fury of the storm, when the winds of doubt blow through me and my sails have all been torn. In the suff’ring, in the sorrow, when my sinking hopes are few, I will hold fast to the anchor, it shall never be removed. Christ the sure and steady anchor while the tempest rages on, when temptation claims the battle and it seems the night has won, deeper still then goes the anchor. Though I justly stand accused, I will hold fast to the anchor, it shall never be removed. Christ the sure and steady anchor through the floods of unbelief. Hopeless somehow, O my soul, now, lift your eyes to Calvary. This my ballast of assurance, see His love forever proved. I will hold fast to the anchor, it shall never be removed. Christ the sure and steady anchor as we face the wave of death, when these trials give way to glory, as we draw our final breath, we will cross that great horizon, clouds behind and life secure, and the calm will be the better, for the storms that we endure. Christ the shore of our salvation, ever faithful, ever true. We will hold fast to the anchor, it shall never be removed. “COME BEHOLD THE WONDROUS MYSTERY” Come behold the wondrous myst’ry, in the dawning of the King. He the theme of heaven’s praises, robed in frail humanity. In our longing, in our darkness, now the Light of life has come. Look to Christ, who condescended, took on flesh to ransom us. Come behold the wondrous myst’ry, He the perfect Son of Man. In His living, in His suff’ring, never trace, nor stain of sin. See the true and better Adam, come to save the hell-bound man. Christ, the great and sure fulfillment of the law, In Him we stand. Come behold the wondrous myst’ry, Christ the Lord upon the tree. In the stead of ruined sinners hangs the Lamb in victory. See the price of our redemption, see the Father’s plan unfold, bringing many sons to glory, grace unmeasured, love untold. Come behold the wondrous mystery, slain by death the God of life, but no grave could e’er restrain Him. Praise the Lord; He is alive! What a foretaste of deliv’rance, how unwavering our hope. 5 WORSHIP THROUGH GIVING “BY FAITH” By faith we see the hand of God in the light of creation’s grand design, in the lives of those who prove His faithfulness, who walk by faith and not by sight. By faith our fathers roamed the earth with the power of His promise in their hearts of a holy city built by God's own hand, a place where peace and justice reign. (Chorus) We will stand as children of the promise, we will fix our eyes on Him, our soul's reward. Till the race is finished and the work is done, we'll walk by faith and not by sight. By faith the prophets saw a day when the longed-for Messiah would appear with the power to break the chains of sin and death and rise triumphant from the grave. By faith the church was called to go in the power of the Spirit to the lost, to deliver captives and to preach good news in every corner of the earth. (Chorus) We will stand as children of the promise, we will fix our eyes on Him, our soul's reward. Till the race is finished and the work is done, we'll walk by faith and not by sight. By faith this mountain shall be moved, and the power of the gospel shall prevail, for we know in Christ all things are possible for all who call upon His name.
