(most copyright info unknown - web-exchange)

Breakfast Order

A resident in a posh hotel breakfastroom called over the head waiter onemorning and read from the menu. “I’d likeone under-cooked egg so that it’s runny, andone over-cooked egg so that it’s tough andhard to eat. I’d also like grilled bacon which is a bit on thecold side, burnt toast, butter straight from the freezerso that it’s impossible to spread, and a pot of very weak, lukewarm coffee.”

“That’s a complicated order sir,” said the bewilderedwaiter. “It might be quite difficult.”

The guest replied sarcastically, “It can’t be that difficultbecause that’s exactly what you brought me yesterday!”

Letter from grandma

One day I received a letter from grandma...

The other day I went up to a local Christian bookstore

and saw a “honk if you love Jesus” bumper sticker. I

was feeling particularly sassy that day because I had

just come from a thrilling choir performance, followed

by a thunderous prayer meeting, so I bought the

sticker and put it on my bumper. Boy, I’m glad I did!

What an uplifting experience followed!

I was stopped at a red light at a busy intersection, just

lost in thought about the Lord and how good He is and

I didn’t notice that the light had changed. It is a good

thing someone else loves Jesus because if he hadn’t

honked, I’d never have noticed! I found that LOTS of

people love Jesus!

While I was sitting there, the guy behind started honk-

ing like crazy, and then he leaned out of his window

and screamed, “For the love of GOD! GO! GO! Jesus

Christ, GO!” What an exuberant cheerleader he was

for Jesus! Everyone started honking! I just leaned

out of my window and started waving and smiling at

all these loving people. I even honked my horn a few

times to share in the love!

There must have been a man from Florida back there

because I heard him yelling something about a “sunny

beach”. I saw another guy waving in a funny way with

only his middle finger stuck up in the air. I asked my

teenage grandson in the back seat what that meant,he said that it was probably a Hawaiian good luck

sign or something. Well, I’ve never met anyone from

Hawaii, so I leaned out the window and gave him the

good luck sign back. My grandson burst out laughing.

He was enjoying this religious experience, too!

A couple of the people were so caught up in the joy of

the moment that they got out of their cars and started

walking towards me. I bet they wanted to pray or ask

what church I attended, but this is when I noticed the

light had changed.

So, I waved to all my sisters and brothers grinning,

and drove on through the intersection. I noticed I wasthe only car that got through the intersection before

the light changed again and I felt kind of sad that I

had to leave them after all the love we had shared, so

I slowed the car down, leaned out of the window and

gave them all the Hawaiian good

luck sign one last time as I drove

away.

Praise the Lord for such wonderful

folks!

Grandma

Halloween party

A married couple was invited to a Halloween party. That night,as they were getting ready to go out, the wife said she haddeveloped a migraine headache and had to stay home. She told

her husband to go to the party without her.“Don’t let me spoil a good time for you,” shesaid. After further discussion, the husbandput his costume on and went to the party. The

wife took some aspirin and went to bed.

After sleeping for a while, she woke feelingmuch better and decided to go to the partyand surprise her husband. As she was getting

ready, she thought to herself, “I wonder what my husband reallydoes when I’m not around.” She then got into a different cos-tume, so her husband wouldn’t recognize her, and went to theparty. Getting there, she stood off to the side and watched.

There was her husband dancing with one girl after another andgetting very physical with them. She decided to see just howfar he would go. She went up to him and started dancing withhim, got very close and whispered that they should go outside.Going to one of the cars, they made love. Prior to the midnightunmasking, she left and went home to wait for her husband toreturn so she could confront him.

He arrived home about 1:00 a.m. and climbed into bed. She satup and asked “Well, how was the party?” He replied, “It was nofun without you honey.” She said, “I don’t believe you. I bet youhad lots of fun!” He replied, “Really, Honey. When I got to theparty, some of the guys and I got bored and we went downstairsand played poker all night. But you know, that guy I loaned mycostume to had one hell of a great time.”

Emergency TIP:

In the event of an area widecatastrophic loss of water pres-

sure, remember, you can use your water heater water for drinking, washing and flushing toilets. Thereare a few things to keep in mind ifthis occurs:

1. Turn off or turn down the ther-

mostat to the “vacation” setting2. If there is no water pressure

for an extended period of time,go to the top of your water heater and close the “inlet” valve sup-plying fresh cold water to your hot water heater. This will preventthe possibility of water from be-ing siphoned back into the mainline and emptying your hot water heater. The cold water fill pipe ex-tends all the way to the bottom ofthe tank when it fills.

Remember: in the event of amajor loss of water pressure thatis area wide, the club house poolwill be a good source of water for washing and flushing of toilets.

Club House Reservations:

Remember, we normally arebooked up about six to ten weeksin advance.

If it is your desire to use the BBQarea for a BBQ, you must reserve

that area just as if you were reserv-ing the club house.

If you are using the patio areafor your BBQ or even the club-house for an event, Remember that pool parties are NOT allowed. The rental of the facility does notinclude the use of the pool areafor your guests.
