Before proceeding with the College Management Software the master data

student details at the time of joining to hostel and daily attendance of students can

be maintained. The details of students residing in hostel can be tracked and

managed. Hostel information, blocks information, room information can be

maintained. Accessories like beds, cots etc. information can be maintained. Fee

management like mess fee etc. can be done. The details when the students change

from one hostel to another hostel or change block or room can be maintained. A

student can vacate the hostel if there are no dues.

Context Diagram

The overall design for EIMS in the form of context diagram is illustrated

below. Inputs to the process are received from students (who make registration

request) from faculty (who request faculty information/course information they

would like to teach) administration (who provide information about their course

offering for a semester) and library (who request for student validity check).

Outputs from the registration process include class schedules and fee statements to

students, teaching assignments to instructors, students fees payment information,


university degree, and class rosters to departments showing the students registered

for each of the department course.
