Awarded Best Performance on the Course. I chose to take a break in my career as a Graphic Designer and return to higher education in order to broaden my knowledge of animal management and science. Excellent marks for many of my assignments led to a Best Performance on the Course Award (90% for an Ethics and Welfare Journal, 80% for an Ethics and Welfare Poster, an average of 85% for work placements and 78% for both Computer Studies and Financial Studies).

I am highly organised, with the ability to manage time and workload for myself and others in order to ensure prompt delivery of projects. I am used to a busy, professional environment, working alone or in a team and often within a budget and to tight deadlines. I am adaptable, confident and hard working, with a strong sense of responsibility. I have a full, clean driving licence. ____________________________________________________________

Work placements and voluntary work _____________________________________________

2007: Two weeks work placement at the Wildlife Heritage Foundation (WHF), Kent. 2006 and 2007: A total of six weeks work placement at Compassion in World Farming (CIWF). Many major office based projects were undertaken, several of which were continued on a voluntary basis after the placement. These included work on transferring CIWF’s image library into SharePoint and collating into an Excel presentation the results of an extensive international survey. 2006: Two weeks work placement at the Animal Reception Centre, Heathrow Airport as an Animal Health Officer. 2005: A week voluntary work at The Kit Wilson Trust For Animal Welfare. ____________________________________________________________
