Management in a Healthcare Environment. The session was presented by two consultants fromthe Deloitte healthcare practice who shared their extensive knowledge and experience with thegroup. Building upon the information presented in last years project management session, EHLmembers were able to dive deeper into the project management world and explore concreteexamples of how project management is becoming a much needed and highly sought after skillto health care delivery organizations. EHL members were able to immediately apply the

knowledge presented through break-out group discussions on a case that was presented. Thisallowed the attendees to work with other EHL members and discuss various approaches, tools, and techniques used by Project Managers on healthcare related projects. The night concludedwith a presentation by the President of the Project Management Institute Northern AlbertaChapter (PMINAC) that covered the step by step process and requirements for obtaining theProject Management Professional (PMP) designation.

The EHL Edmonton Executive would like to thank the members who attended and thepresenters who volunteered their time to share their experiences.
