Egypt Project AIM: Create your own ancient Egyptian scroll You will receive an 18” x 12” piece of paper that you will create your scroll on. You must, first, sketch out your design with graphite pencil and then go over your lines with sharpies and colored pencils that will be available in class. These are the recommended mediums. Requirements: •There must be a story or theme related to your image. You can have a traditional Egyptian theme or a modern theme done in ancient Egyptian style. •Your paper can have a landscape or portrait orientation. •You must have a 1” border with a geometric design (you may add non-geometric imagery to the border if you’d like) •There must be at least one “humanoid” in your picture. •Humanoids should be drawn in “composite view”. •You must have a sentence or two written in hieroglyphics that sums up your theme or story.
