Egg Drop Our sixth annual Egg Drop was a great success! I was quite impressed with the creative use of “stuffing” materials. Some ideas included cereal, pool noodles, bubble wrap, packing “peanuts,” newspaper, Easter grass, paper towels, flour, cotton balls, and even peanut butter! The containers used were just as inventive boxes, plastic containers, foam rubber, and a large, plastic egg. There were some very original decorating ideas as well; we even had a parachute!!

  • Egg DropOur sixth annual Egg Drop was a great success!I was quite impressed with the creative use of“stuffing” materials. Some ideas included cereal, pool noodles, bubble wrap, packing “peanuts,”

newspaper, Easter grass, paper towels, flour, cotton balls, and even peanut butter!

The containers used were just as inventive–boxes, plastic containers, foam rubber, and a

large, plastic egg. There were some very originaldecorating ideas as well; we even had a

    parachute!!

  • We dropped our eggs from the top of our playground equipment.

  • Then, we came inside to un-wrap our eggs and check for cracks.

  • Most of the eggs survived the fall–only 4 eggs cracked!

Aspecial “thank you” tothe grown-ups who helped to make thisproject a fun learning experience! You alldid an “egg-cellent” job!
