Amelie (13) thinks of herself as a tough big-city brat and she probably is indeed the most stubborn girl in all of Berlin. Amelie doesn’t let anyone tell her what to do, least of all her parents, who ship her off to a special clinic in the mountains after just another asthma attack. Exactly what Amelie definitely doesn’t want. But instead of getting help at the clinic, she runs off and flees to a place where certainly no one would expect to find her: the top of a mountain. When the clinic and her parents realize she ran away, a big search for her is underway. Focused on trying to find a hiding place in the mountains, Amelie meets a quirky boy named Bart. When Bart saves her life, Amelie realizes that Bart is actually a lot cooler than she first thought. Learning of Amelie’s illness, Bart tells her about an old tradition happening that time a year, the Alp Mountain Fires. These Alp Mountain Fires are miracles, which allegedly help cure the sick: humans and animals. Now on a mission to get to the fires in time, the kids take off on an adventurous journey of hope and true friendship.

The ailing writer and psychoanalyst Lou Andreas-Salomé is leading a lonely existence in Göttingen 1933 threatened by the Nazi regime.

When German philologist Ernst Pfeiffer enters her life, she begins to write her memoirs with him. Born 1861 in St. Petersburg she vows never to fall in love and to pursue intellectual perfection. She meets Paul Rée and Friedrich Nietzsche and against all conventions of time, Lou and Rée live and study together in Berlin. Lou attains her goal of an intellectual and free spirited life, but when she meets the young and still unknown writer Rainer Maria Rilke she falls in love. After they break up she has numerous affairs. Lou begins to attend Sigmund Freud’s lectures, becomes a well-esteemed psychoanalyst and finally recognizes the trauma of her youth.

This is the story of Toby, the most creative 11-year-old boy and inventor you can think of. One day, the little robot Robby enters his life. He‘s been separated from his robot parents when his spaceship crashed and now he’s looking for them. Toby decides to offer his help and the two of them become friends. Teaming up, they build an invention that can fly, float, and drive on a road – a fantastic Voyager especially designed to help their search.

Up in the Swiss Alps, just above a small town, lives Ursli with his parents, their animals, and his best friend Sereina who often comes to visit. He is a real mountain boy and has a special gift for caring and understanding animals. When late summer arrives, Ursli and his parents make their way down to the village, transporting their harvest by horse carriage. Suddenly, an accident occurs and they lose it all over a cliff. In order to survive the winter they now must make a deal with the unfriendly but wealthy store owner in the village, which puts them into debt. Ursli also has to give up his beloved goat to the rude son of the store owner. And as if things could not get any worse, Ursli receives the smallest bell of all kids for “Chalandamarz” and the kids make fun of him. “Chalandamarz” is a mountain ritual for which the kids chime the bells to banish winter and welcome spring. Ursli finally decides to take matters in his own hands… to help his parents and to find the biggest bell… which is hidden in a cabin on top of the mountain. The adventure is on!

The story of 11-year-old Felix, whom nobody believes he has “shrunk” the universally-hated school principal Dr. Schmitt-Gössenwein to a height of just 15 centimeters. It tells the story of a young golden plover having trouble learning to fly and fails to migrate with his family to warmer climates. With the help of friends he is able to survive in a world full of natural enemies and is, at the end, celebrated as a hero.

The story was developed by the Icelandic producers, animation studio GunHil and will be co-produced with Cyborn 3D animation studio located in Belgium.

When Liv opens her eyes she finds herself lost in a strange room. Next to her, lying unconscious and heavily wounded her fellow scientist partner Lex.
