obtained from demolition wastes from any construction industry or structure. In India about 14.5 MT of wastes is produced by construction industries which includes bricks , rubble masonry and other concrete wastes . For sustainable development use of recycled aggregate concrete is of utmost importance.
As the natural resources are very limited and demand for these are increasing day by day it has become a major issue nowadays. Hence due to all these major issues it has become very important to reuse and recycle the demolition concrete so that cost and energy can be saved. recycled aggregates can be obtained very easily and the cost is also very cheaper than normal aggregates. so in order to produce environment friendly concrete recycled aggregate concrete must be introduced .
2. RECYCLED AGGREGATES Concrete is the mostly used material in all engineering works. As concrete consists of 70% to 80% of aggregates for construction work so it will be very beneficial to recycle natural aggregates to solve the environmental problems and issues. The problem regarding waste material is increasing day by day so use of recycled aggregates is the solution for this problem. Cost of recycled aggregates is 20 to 30% less than natural aggregates and the consumption of natural aggregates can be reduced by using recycled aggregates. It is very easy to obtain recycle aggregates. they can be obtained from any demolition site, or from any construction industry.
3. PROPERTIES OF RECYCLED AGGREGATES Specific gravity of recycled aggregates is lower than natural aggregates due to the crushed
material is present in it .The specific gravity of recycled aggregates of size 20 mm is 2.48
The bulk density of recycled aggregates is lower than that of natural aggregates .
Water absorption in recycled aggregates is more than natural aggregates because of the porosity of concrete paste.
Recycled aggregates has high creep and drying shrinkage

8. CONCLUSION This paper was conducted to study the effect of super plasticizer on compressive strength and abrasion resistance of recycled aggregate concrete and natural aggregate concrete. From the experiments the following conclusion was obtained. 1. The use of recycled coarse aggregates in any construction work will help in reducing environmental pollution as well as cost of production of natural sources and will help in solving the problem related to construction waste management. 2. When we added RCA to concrete with addition of super plasticizer it results in lower workability and also results in lower compressive strength as compared to natural aggregates. 3. The effect on abrasion resistance was almost same in recycled aggregate concrete and natural aggregate concrete .The value remains same. 4. Additon of super plasticizer does not show any huge effect on the strength properties of concrete. 5. The workability of concrete can be increased by adding super plasticizer but it does not show any huge variation on strength properties.

6. From the strength obtained from the experiments carried out it is clear that recycled coarse aggregates can be utilized up to 25% for sustainable development of concrete. 7. The use of recycled coarse aggregates in concrete industry will help in saving construction waste disposal costs and also will help in producing green concrete by saving natural resources.
