    Eero Saarinen was from Finland, but he moved to America when he was 13. His father,

    Eliel Saarinen, was an architect too, but his designs much more boring and much less

    original . Eero Saarinen was not only an architect he was also a designer. He designed

    chairs, tables and interior designs for buildings. His most famous design was the

    Tulip Chair.

    The Saint Louis Arch was built in 1965 and was the largest monument in the USA at the

    time. The Arch cost 13 million dollars at the time, which is cheap for a monument that

    is 192 meters tall.
