Introduction• In September 2005, the Ministry of Higher
Education prepared a preliminary study for starting the project of the Egyptian E-Learning University (EELU).
• In November 2006, an action plan was prepared for the University establishment.
• In June 2007, The Cabinet approved the establishment of the Egyptian E-Learning University.
• A presidential decree was issued in August 16, 2008 No.233 to Establish the Egyptian E-Learning University to be the first ever qualified e-learning university based on best practices of the ICT and education technology in teaching and learning.

STEM is a curriculum based on the idea of educating students in four specific disciplines — science, technology, engineering and mathematics — in an interdisciplinary and applied approach. eSTEM ProjectInternational Diploma for School Teachers in STEM Education
The project aims at developing a new generation of qualified STEM teachers who are able to develop Problem-solving, Innovation, Invention, Self-reliance, Logical thinking skills in students, and qualifying them to pursue STEM-based higher education and jobs.
Those teachers will be able to work in STEM schools in Egypt and Arab countries as well as working with STEM methodology and resources in regular public and private schools.

Diploma Structure
• Diploma Workload shall consist of 60 ECTS which are
approximately equal to 32 CHs.
• The Core Modules shall represent 18 CHs consisting of 6 Courses
(3 CHs each).
• The Specialization Modules (for two majors [Math Or Science])
shall represent 6 CHs.
• Practical placement at schools shall represent 8 CHs
