Welcome to Agriscience Fundamentals and Applications, 6e MindTap. This guide will help you

navigate the unique activities that are included in the MindTap, which will better enable you

to include the exercises in your curriculum. While the content included in this MindTap is

specific to the discipline and course, the functionality will act the same as you move from

product to product.

Resources that are specific to your campus’s LMS, should additional information be needed.

This is the Unit content. All content found in the printed text also lives in the unit. The Readings in each unit are presented in manageable “chunks,” with embedded Quick Check Assignments at the end of each Reading section. There are also valuable study tools like highlighting, note taking, dictionary, flashcards, ReadSpeaker, and more.

Readings provide the background information necessary to successfully complete the other assignments, activities and quizzing, providing the student with a complete understanding of concepts.

Video & Video Library (Media)

Video clips are embedded into the readings where applicable. The video library in each section houses the videos that are found within the readings of that section, allowing for quick access to video content.

Videos serve to reinforce what is introduced in the readings. With the addition of the video content, the student is not just reading – he or she is also watching and listening.
