THEME

My Community Social Studies Alive! My Community teaches students the basics of geography, economics, and citizenship in the context of learning about their local community. Readings are reinforced by activities that develop a wide range of skills. These skills include designing a community within the classroom, making a simple toy using assembly-line techniques, and acting out people’s experiences in different time periods.

Inquiry Based Science

Magnets, Sound, Light, Plants, Animal Life Cycles, Solar System, and Natural Disasters.

Homework• Students will be given a packet at

the beginning of every week. It is due on Friday.
