PRAGUE FUN FACTS !Before you dive into Prague‘s life,
here are a few things you should be aware of…
EXCHANGEUnfortunately, the city centre is full of
shady exchange offices with low rates and hidden fees. Always check
the exchange rate online and check the banknotes you receive, just to be sure. Never exchange money on the street.
If you are in need of a taxi, call the numbers 14014 or 14015. We recommend using UBER or BOLT. Stopping a taxi
in the city centre is risky because of their high fares.
TAXI
PICKPOCKETSAs in every big city, take care of your personal
belongings. Most shops accept credit cards and ATM machines are on every corner.
You will see Euronet ATMs all over Prague. We do not recommend using them, as their rate is poor and they rip you off. Use bank
ATMs instead, there are plenty of them all over the city.
ATMs
Don‘t be afraid to use public transport! It’s cheap, fast and reliable. However, Prague is a
compact city, especially its centre, we recommend that you
walk to truly experience its architecture and vibe.
PUBLIC TRANSPORT
PRO TIPIf you‘re planning on
using public transport, we recommend downloading
official app that allows you to buy tickets and
keep track of them. Just type in your card details
and off you go!
