Does anyone know any presidents? The three we will be discussing are George Washington, Abraham Lincoln, and Thomas Jefferson. We are going to talk about who they were, what happened during their presidency, and what they stood for. We will also talk about the important events that happened while they were president. Locate, organize, analyze, evaluate, synthesize, and ethically use information from a variety of sources and media Roni Hamilton (EDUC3313)5 INTRODUCE: OVERVIEW This lesson focuses on the Presidents of the United states. I will talk about three presidents: George Washington, Abraham Lincoln, and Thomas Jefferson. We will read books over each of these presidents and discuss who they were, what happened during their presidency, and what they stood for. Next I will have a bubble outline set up on smart board and we as a class will make up an outline for each president. Then the students will choose which president they want to write a paragraph over. Roni Hamilton (EDUC3313)6 INTRODUCE: ESSENTIAL QUESTIONS What do you know about George Washington? Abraham Lincoln? And Thomas Jefferson? What do you want to know about each of them that you dont already know? What were some of the main events that happened during their presidency?
