Lawrence KohlbergLawrence Kohlberg • Born October 25, 1927, in Bronxville,

New York• He studied psychology at the

University of Chicago in the late 1940s and 1950s

• He completed school in 1958• He died in 1987 of a possible suicide,

know one knowing the exact date.

• They don’t speak for themselves they, listen to the “Big People” around them.

• Individuals follow what they want to do and expect everyone to do the same as well.

• What they think is right involves equal exchange.

• It is important for them to do the law in a right way.

• Rules should be followed to maintain social order.
