Dangerous Plants
Our World is BeautifulThis is a short presentation to teach about the different plants we can come in contact with that are dangerous to us.
Sometimes kids love to pick flowers for their Mom’s, but Parents should teach them which ones are safe.
We should all be aware of what dangers lie in our own front or back yard.

Cute Killers
• Castor Bean: Grown in California to be decorative floral. But on of the deadliest plant poison on earth.
Rosary Pea
• This plant sounds sweet and looks cute, but is one of the most dangerous plant on earth.
Carnivorous Plants
• Dionaea muscipula - The Venus Flytrap: Found in southeastern United States of America, South Carolina and North Carolina
Sarracenia - the Pitcher Plants
• Grows in Eastern North America, Central Canada, and Southeastern United States of America.
These are just a few• We only covered a few of the dangerous plants that
are out there. This is just a reminder that we should be aware of them. Beautiful But Deadly.
