Statement of the ProblemTeachers
need to learn how to integrate technology effectivelyhave an attitude toward technology that helps or
hinders their successful integration (Mueller, et al., 2008)
need to feel like they have a say in how technology is integrated
have perceptions about the technology coordinator’s job that affect their integration
Monte Gardens Elementary needs an integration plan to help the teachers use recently purchased technology effectively.

Using effective technology while teaching, can significantly increase students’ knowledge, however, the key is that it must be effective… and you must receive training in how to do this!
Purpose of ProjectEffectively introduce document cameras and
LCD projectors to the Monte Gardens staff.Educate the staff on techniques that can be
used with document cameras to enhance their standards-based lessons.
Teach the staff how to make meaningful cross-curricular connections using technology.
Create a reference guide so that teachers have a resource at their finger-tips describing some technical how-to’s
Project ObjectivesSpecific Outcomes of this Project:Staff will know how to use the technologies at
Monte Gardens Elementary.Staff will integrate technology into lessons as
it is appropriate.Students will be exposed to more technology-
enriched lessons.Staff will use the technology coordinator as a
resource for both integration questions and technological support.
