EDIWIN XML/EDI SERVER is the Edicom solution with which you can versatilely manage all of your commercial transactions and documents from your ERP. EDIWIN XML/EDI SERVER automates the process of importing and exporting records in the proprietary language of your company’s management system using sophisticated multi-format data mapping and conversion systems which automate the generation, dispatch, receipt, and integration of important business documents in standardized formats (EDIFACT, X12, XML, Facturae, etc.).

How it works

The EDIWIN XML/EDI SERVER software is hosted on the EDICOM B2B Cloud Platform and can be accessed simply by using an internet browser, allowing you to monitor and control all aspects of your digital transactions. An adaptor developed by Edicom keeps your EDIWIN XML/EDI SERVER in permanent communication with your ERP.

When you wish to send a document (order, invoice, shipping notice, financial report, etc.), it is generated from your ERP. The Edicom adaptor detects the availability of documents to send and automatically transfers the data via Web Services to EDIWIN.

This then identifies the recipient and communicates with the other EDICOM B2B Cloud Platform applications to convert the data to the structured data standard used by the recipient, and sends the information using the protocol required in each case.

For messages received, the process is reversed. When a document is received by the EDICOM B2B Cloud Platform, EDIWIN conducts a series of validations and manages the document conversion processes to change the data to your ERP proprietary language. The transaction data are stored on your local network and automatically integrated with your company’s internal management system.
