As you all know our three demands mentioned below, are still hanging on fire. Despite of best efforts of our
Federation leaders under CBPRO, the Government/IBAhas not heeded to our those demands for which talkswere going on smoothly. It appears that due to someCourt case, filed by some other Pensioners' Association
of which the Court has given verdict against their writ. Our Federation had tried their level best for the followupceaselessly and sincerly along with CBPRO, be it withIBA, Government, Administrative Forums or even
through the repeated personal visits to different Hon'bleMinisters and Ministry officials. However, in view of theone reason or the other, including the latestdemonetization exercise, our issues have failed to elict
any attention despute the best efforts put in by CBPRO.Therefore, in consultation with all the constituants ofthe CBPRO, it is decided to finalize the followingDemonstrative action program :
1. 15.02.2017 (Wednesday) - Deputation byRepresentatives of all the CBPRO Constituentsto the Indian Bank's Association, Mumbai.
2. 15.03.2017 (Wednesday) - Massive
Demonstration, Dharna and Hungar Strike atJantar Mantar, New Delhi by all the CBPRO from10.00 a.m. onwards.
Comrades, the decision to go for the aforesaid
Demonstrative action had to be taken, as all the followingissues of the Pensioners and Retirees have goneunheeded and fallen pray to the so common policy ofprocrastination or the lip symthey, at all levels despite
repeated knocks at every possible door by CBPRO.
Our Demands
1. 100% D.A. Neutralisation to pre-retirees of 2002.
Developments in the Federation of SBI Pensioners' AssociationEditorial....
2. Revision in Family Pension in line withGovernment and RBI Pensioners.
3. Updation of Pension.
4. Medical Insurance Premium should be fullyborne by the Banks as is done in the case ofserving employees.
P.S. While going to the printing press for publication ofthis issue, we have received message from the GeneralSecretary of the Federation of SBI Pensioners that thetalks of CBPRO conveners and other representatives
has again taken place and we have been advised thatthe talks were fruitful and would further, the same wouldbe held in the time to come. Although there is no suchinstructions have been received by us regarding change/
cancellation of our proposed Dharna on 15.03.2017 atJantar Mantar, New Delhi, we do hope that if the talksremain taking places, the Dharna may be called off. Weare waiting for the detailed development of the above
meeting/waiting for the circular of the Federation forclarification, if the Dharna is to take place, Comrades,be prepared to go to Delhi on 15.03.2017.
