DELETING A PART OF THE DRAWING

1. To delete a small area of a drawing, you can either use the eraser tool or selection tool. If you use a selection tool, press the delete key after you selected the part you want to remove.

2. Delete the entire area of the image menu and click Clear image. You can also use the keyboard shortcut Ctrl+Shift+N.

CHANGE AND DELETE TEXT

Take note that after you have typed your text in the text box and you click another tool, you cannot change or delete the text anymore except if you’ll select it with a selection tool and press delete key but the background will be deleted also. So before you click another tool, make sure you typed your text right.

Steps in changing or deleting a text in a text box

1. After typing your text in the text box, click and then drag your cursor from the first letter to the last letter of the text you want to change. This will highlight the text.

2. While the text is highlighted, type the new correct text.

3. Reread again your text and once you’re satisfied, click a new tool in the painting tools to confirm the changes.

• Located in the Edit menu, these two options can help you go back to your previous state whenever you made a mistake. You can also press the shortcut key Ctrl+Z to undo changes and Ctrl+Y to Redo changes.
