The MiG-31 „Edge of Space“ flight is un-paralleled: After years of trusty service, the now decommissioned MiG-25 «Foxbat» has been replaced by the new MiG-31E and we are proud to be the very first supplier to offer flights with this outstanding plane. This fight-er plane was developed to combat bombers flying at high altitudes, ballistic missiles and even to shoot down hostile satellites. Conse-quently, this jet is ideal for a flight up to the «limits of the earth’s atmosphere». Up to now, only a handful of people have had the privi-lege to reach such heights and marvel at the vast distances of space, with our earth’s cur-vature clearly visible below.

At the day of your flight, you’ll be picked up at your hotel by our translator and brought to the airbase by private transfer service.

After checking the documents, you’ll be grant-ed permission to the airbase. Then, it’s time to meet your pilot who will discuss the flight with you and, as long as within the possibili-ties of safety-regulations, will gladly follow any possible wishes you may have.

A last medical check up guarantees a safe flight. After putting on the pilot overall and the G-suit, you will drive to the airfield together with our translator and the pilot where techni-cians are already in the process of preparing the plane for take off.

The pilot will then give you an introduction into the systems of this imposing plane. Sub-sequently, you take a seat in the cockpit and the pilot will explain to you the instruments and their operation.

Eventually, the pilot will enter, as well, and you do a communications-check together – now, it’s time to get going.

After the flight, you will once again be on firm ground and have the opportunity to shoot a few souvenir photos.

Prior to flight, a medical check-up will have to be signed by your doctor. Furthermore, you’re obliged to provide an ECG in order to avoid risks. Please do get in contact with us at least 45 days before your desired date of flight so we can apply for your permission to enter the military area.

The flight is taking place in Nizhniy Novgorod. This city lies about 400 km to the Northeast of Moscow and is easily reached by planes tak-ing off from either Frankfurt or Moscow.

A piloting license is no prerequisite yet you’re still allowed to fly the plane yourself during parts of the flight. Besides the price of our package, no additional costs arise (for more detailed information, please have a look at the supplementary sheet or consult our webpage www.migflug.ch).

MiG-29 «Fulcrum»20-40 minute flight in Russian Air Force’s current frontline-fighter

The adrenaline boost of your life: Experience 20-40 minutes of supersonic flight with af-terburner, loopings, rolls, immelmans, split-s’s, narrow turns, tailslides and other com-plex manoeuvres. An experienced test pilot will turn over control of the plane to you for parts of the flight: You are allowed to pilot the

MiG-29 all by yourself at times! Your flight with the MiG-29 takes place in Nizhny Novgorod and includes our complete service ahead of and after the flight: administration, transfer, translator, permission to take souvenir photos, a certificate and a meal after the flight.

Trainer L-39 «Albatros»

Visit an airbase where the training of prospective MiG and SU-pilots takes place and fly with experienced instruc-tors the trainer plane L-39 „Albatros“. You can take control of the plane here, as well. Manoeuvres include loopings, rolls, immelmans, split-S’s, narrow turns, etc.

It’s possible for groups to fly with the famous aerobatics-team “Vyazma Rus”. For two per-sons and more, we also offer air combat train-ing.The day trip will begin and end in Moscow. Naturally, a flight with the L-39 includes our usual service package.

Your day of f l ight – our serviceNo matter which plane you decide to choose – you’ll always enjoy our complete service to guarantee your day of flight will be an unfor-gettable experience. You’ll be picked up by our translator in the morning, are provided with a pri-vate transfer to the airbase where you’ll be giv-en access. Afterwards, you’ll get to know your pilot, discuss the flight and will be briefed about the plane. You’re going to be fitted with a pilot overall and go through a last medical check up.

Arriving at the runway, you’ll find your plane fully prepared for take-off by the technicians. A few final instructions in the cockpit and the flight may commence.

What follows then are 20-40 minutes of pure adrenaline. Safely back on the ground, a hand-shake with the pilot, souvenir photos and a cer-tificate await you. Subsequently, we invite you to dinner and accompany you back to your hotel.
