Your key responsibilities for both the above roles will include:-• driving improved commercial decision making through rigorous planning, analysis and

maintaining financial control• delivering improved financial performance by focused commercial analysis of revenue

and cost drivers• on time delivery of all reporting, budgeting and forecasting requirements of the departments• carrying out wide ranging ad hoc analysis including investment appraisals, profitability and cost analysis, in-depth customer and channel profitability analysis as well as

supporting new product and market launches.

The ideal candidates will have a strong financial background, with a real desire to lead change and make a difference in a business going through an exciting phase ofdevelopment.

You will be a strong analytical thinker with excellent interpersonal skills and solid financial planning and reporting experience, ideally gained in a large commercialbusiness.

Based in Central London

Business Analyst, OperationsSalary c£50k + excellent benefits

Reporting to a Senior Business Analyst, and working closely with the OperationsDirector and department heads.

Senior Business Analyst, CommercialSalary c£60k + excellent benefits

Reporting to the Financial Controller, managing a team of 4 and working closelywith the directors of the commercial and product development divisions.

Financial Accounting ManagerSalary c£60k + excellent benefits

Reporting to the Financial Controller, this is a pivotal role within the Edexcel finance function. Key responsibilities include:-

• maintaining the integrity of monthly reporting through improvements in finance systems and processes• taking ownership of the balance sheet and ensuring the cash flows of the business are closely monitored and accurately forecast• managing a team of 10 comprising the financial accounts, payroll and accounts payable teams• ensuring compliance with accounting standards, tax legislation and Sarbanes-Oxley

The candidate will have financial accounts and people management experience, preferably in a large commercial organisation. You will be used to operating to high professionalstandards and meeting deadlines.

The candidate will have strong technical and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and drive change in a fast growing business environment.
