Friday, April 25th Rodney Crowell featuring Steuart Smith and friends with special guest, Shannon McNally 7:00pm & 9:15pm Two decades after his 1988 commercial breakthrough release Diamonds & Dirt, multi-Grammy Award winner Rodney Crowell collaborated with the same band, recording a live cut with Nashville session royalty Michael Rhodes, Eddie Bayers, and Steuart Smith. The resulting album, Tarpaper Sky, combines Crowell’s forty years of songwriting experience with his unwavering enthusiasm for American music. In addition to receiving multiple Grammy awards, Crowell is a member of the Nashville Songwriters Hall of Fame and received a Lifetime Achievement Award for Songwriting from the Americana Music Association. Saturday, April 26th Grocery on Home Presents: Barnaby Bright and Minton Sparks with special guests, Cicada Rhythm 7:00pm Since releasing their first album in 2009, Barnaby Bright—made up of married duo Nathan and Rebecca Bliss—has garnered high praises for both their profound and evocative songwriting, as well as their timeless indie folk

sound. They are grand prize winners of the NY Song Circle Competition, and their music has been featured on national television shows including ER and Days of our Lives. Amazon.com named Gravity, their follow-up EP, one of the top 100 records of the year, and they’ve shared a stage with the Lumineers, Norah Jones, and other notable artists. Minton Sparks is a poet, short story author, character actor, and songwriter all rolled into one dynamic package who balances her literary, theatrical, and musical talents with ease. Unlike most artists of the 21st Century, there was no pre-existing script for what Sparks does, so she’s written her own script and coined a name for herself to boot: a speaker-songwriter. Sparks has received widespread critical acclaim from

both the literary and musical spheres; she’s been featured on NPR’s All Things Considered, and has shared the stage with Rodney Crowell, John Prine, Nancy Griffith, and the Punch Brothers. Erin Thomas and Annie Mosher 9:30pm Erin Thomas is a Nashville-based singer-songwriter with a unique and beautiful voice who evokes the styles of Alison Krauss, Patty Griffin, Eva Cassidy, and Norah Jones. She is currently promoting her new album, “You Don’t Know Me,” which debuted in the Top 10 on US folk radio in August and #8 on the Folk DJ album chart, with the title track charting at #4 on the song chart. “You Don’t Know Me” has been played on airwaves in Canada, Denmark, Germany, and Australia. Erin has shared the stage with the likes of Maura O’Connell, Missy Raines & The New Hip, Thom Schuyler, The Whiskey Gentry, and more. Annie Mosher is a singer-songwriter from rural Vermont whose music is earning her accolades across the Southeast and the country. She is a winner of the Texas Wildflower Music Festival and the Kerrville New Folk Award, and is a beloved regular at the renowned Bluebird Café in Nashville. She was selected as the 2013 guest singer-songwriter for the ACLU Lifetime Achievement Awards and Bill of Rights Ceremony, and her new song “Goldfish” was produced by Beatles producer Alan Parsons.

Sunday, April 27th Ralph Stanley and the Clinch Mountain Boys with special guest, Mike Kinnebrew 2:00pm & 7:00pm Now 87 years old, Ralph Stanley has been performing professionally since 1946, when he and his brother started the Stanley Brothers and the Clinch Mountain Boys, a bluegrass band that later became one of the most celebrated in the world. Since then, Stanley has become a decorated musician: in 2002 he won a Grammy for Best Country Male Vocalist Performance, beating Johnny Cash, Willie Nelson, Tim McGraw, and other heavy-hitters. He also won a Grammy for Album of the Year that same year for his part in the O Brother, Where Art Thou? collection. Stanley has been inducted into the historic Grand Ole Opry and he was

given the Living Legend award from the Library of Congress. He has recorded duets with artists such as Bob Dylan, Emmylou Harris, Lucinda Williams, Dolly Parton, Ricky Skaggs, and Joan Baez, and he continues to be a highly respected musical stylist, performer, and artist. Monday, April 28th OK Productions Presents: Damien Jurado with special guest, Adam Faucett 6:30pm Damien Jurado released new album, Brothers and Sisters of the Eternal Son, which can be found worldwide. After having worked together in 2012 on Jurado’s previous full length Maraqopa, Jurado and

producer Richard Swift reunite for his latest release. His new video for “Jericho Road” was recorded at The Strongroom in London and directed by Phil Poole. Brothers and Sisters of the Eternal Son has earned praise in the US and the UK, where iTunes UK chose it as their Editor’s Choice pick.

Tuesday, April 29th Joshua James with special guest, Matthew Perryman Jones 8:00pm Joshua James crafts overwhelmingly honest songs that are oddly familiar, yet refreshingly innovative. His performances are transcendent; James doesn’t so much sing his songs as he does allow them to possess him, letting his voice be moved from a husky whisper to a full-bodied roar. James’ first two albums, The Sun is Always Brighter and Build Me This, released in 2007 and 2009, respectively, topped the annual Best of iTunes lists and earning accolades from Paste and Esquire magazines. He is currently in support of his newest release, From The Top of Willamette Mountain. Decatur native Matthew Perryman Jones has a voice that, as American Songwriter puts it, “ensnares listeners with a rare authenticity and gritty strength.” Performing Songwriter Magazine called Jones “a talent that follows in the footsteps of Leonard Cohen and John Lennon.” Jones’ songs have appeared on shows such as Grey’s Anatomy, Private Practice, Bones, Pretty Little Liars, and more. Jones has headlined his own tours

and has also performed alongside Matthew Mayfield and Joshua James, and has opened for artists like Ingrid Michaelson, Patty Griffin, and Paula Cole. Wednesday, April 30th Emerson Hart with special guest, Logan Brill 8:00pm You might recognize Emerson Hart as the songwriter and frontman of the multi-platinum alt-rock band Tonic, known for the smash hits “Open Up Your Eyes” and “If You Could Only See.” Now the Grammy nominated singer-songwriter returns for Beauty in Disrepair, his first solo release in over six years. Beauty in Disrepair is Hart’s follow-up to his 2007 solo debut entitled Cigarettes & Gasoline, a critically-acclaimed album that produced two Top 20 singles. Critics are calling the new album “warm, inviting, accessible,” and “possessing some killer hooks.” Thursday, May 1st Willie Watson Record Release Tour with special guests, Mandolin Orange 7:30pm Former Old Crow Medicine Show member Willie Watson debuts his first solo album, the David Rawlings-produced Folk Singer Vol. 1. Spanning ten beloved songs from the American folk tradition, the music—much like Willie himself—can be at once teeming with deep, dark, rich emotions and yet lighthearted, with a sly sense of humor. Now,

Willie is now defending his musical turf, armed with an acoustic guitar, a banjo, and the occasional mouth harp, and critics are calling it, “a true solo album in every sense.” Eddie's Attic is located at 515 N.
