Each cohort is led by a Cohort Mentor who is a leading practitioner appointed as an adjunct faculty to:

Support content learning and dissertation development

Coach students to apply theory to real-world practice

Guide students through the Transformational Change Project

Mentor students on leadership and career development

The cohort mentor is a dedicated coach for 2 years

Signature Project

Transformational Change – A major field-based project integrating the latest theories into real-world applications

Designed over several terms in first year Implemented over a 24 week period Transformational Change Symposium at final immersion

Some change projects include A facilities use project at a community college which turned into a

multimillion dollar bond measure = which passed! A succession planning project for a large organization which led to

implementation at a national level

Option 2: Thematic dissertation Students write their own individual dissertations, while

given an option to work in groups on a similar theme
