About DraperThe Draper story begins in 1902 with our founder, Luther O.

Draper. Mr. Draper’s business philosophy was simple—to make

a quality product and sell it at a reasonable price. Draper

began manufacturing window shades for

schools, addressing the problems of heat and

glare in classrooms.

In 1957 Draper secured a patent on an affordable

classroom projection screen. Today, Draper

manufactures a full line of projection screens

and related products.

In 1994 Draper entered the gymnasium

equipment market and has since broadened that

line to include a full line of products for both

indoor and outdoor sports.

Today the company is a true global citizen, with

manufacturing facilities in Indiana, Ohio, and

Sweden and sales worldwide.

Our Commitment To The EnvironmentDraper’s leadership role on environmental issues

both in our operations and in our products

is a primary companywide focus. Draper’s

commitment includes extensive investment

in staff training for valuable environmental

programs like LEED® and others, allowing

our customers to better benefit from more

environmentally responsible activities.

Draper products have potential to contribute

to LEED® (Leadership in Energy and

Environmental Design) certification points in a

facility: consult one of Draper’s LEED®

Accredited Professionals for assistance in planning for

environmentally effective installations.

The construction of Draper products has become friendlier

to the environment as well by including

increasing quantities of low- and zero-

emission materials and increasingly

efficient manufacturing processes. We are

making a concerted effort to increase the

recycled content in all of our products. Visit

www.draperinc.com/go/green for more

information.

Draper’s Corporate Environmental Mission Statement:Draper is looking forward to the needs of

the future by establishing itself as a market

leader in “Green” environmentally-friendly

products and operations. As a United States

manufacturer of quality products for the

architectural market for over 100 years, Draper

is committed to providing products for the

sustainable design market. As members of our

local, state, and national community and as

members of the U.S. Green Building Council,

our company and our employees are striving

to become more environmentally conscious

by continuously upgrading our facilities to

be more energy efficient, and by introducing

“reduce, reuse and recycle” programs. We will

continue to upgrade and design new products

with these goals in mind.
