What is ecosyctem ?
Ecosystem is a complex two directional relationship between organisms and their surrounding, whether biotic or abiotic.

Kind of Ecosystem
Natural Ecosystem Example : Tropical Rain Forest
Artificial Ecosystem Example : Rice field
Succession Ecosystem

Constituent Components of Ecosystem
Biotic Components Biotic Components is an ecosystem component which consist of organisms.
Example : plants, animal, bacteria.
![Page 6: Ecosystem Persentation.ppt](https://reader035.fdocuments.net/reader035/viewer/2022062312/55721321497959fc0b91ab36/html5/thumbnails/6.jpg)
Constituent Components of Ecosystem
Abiotic Components Abiotic Components is the components of ecosystem which consist of dead bodies.
Example : Soil, Water, Air, Temperature, Sunlight, and Climate.

Food chain
What is Food Chain ? A food chain is the even of eating and being eaten is a certain order and direction.
![Page 8: Ecosystem Persentation.ppt](https://reader035.fdocuments.net/reader035/viewer/2022062312/55721321497959fc0b91ab36/html5/thumbnails/8.jpg)

PRODUCERS
Producers are organisms which are able to produce food substance through photosynthesis process.
They turn energy from the sun into sugars that animals can use.
Producers are on the bottom of the food chain.

GRASS
Grass is a producers. Grass including into autotroph Grass is a food for herbivores
animal. Grass (green plant) use energy
from the sun to make food

CONSUMERS
Consumers is organisms which cannot produce their own food substance, but use food substance made by another organism.
Consumers hunt, gather, and store food because they cannot make their own.
Consumers are divided into three kind : Herbivores Carnivores Omnivores
![Page 12: Ecosystem Persentation.ppt](https://reader035.fdocuments.net/reader035/viewer/2022062312/55721321497959fc0b91ab36/html5/thumbnails/12.jpg)
GRASSHOPPER
Grasshopper is a herbivores animal who eat plants.
Grasshopper is the primary consumers. Grasshopper including into heterotroph. They survive on plants and don't eat
other animals. They have specialised teeth and
stomachs to enable them to get the energy they need from plants.
![Page 13: Ecosystem Persentation.ppt](https://reader035.fdocuments.net/reader035/viewer/2022062312/55721321497959fc0b91ab36/html5/thumbnails/13.jpg)
SNAKE
Snake is a carnivores animals who only eat other animals.
Snake is secondary consumers. Snake including into heterotrophs. They have specialised teeth and
stomachs to enable them to get the energy they need from the bodies of other animals.
![Page 14: Ecosystem Persentation.ppt](https://reader035.fdocuments.net/reader035/viewer/2022062312/55721321497959fc0b91ab36/html5/thumbnails/14.jpg)
HAWK
Hawk is a carnivores animals who only eat other animals.
Hawk is tertiary consumers. Hawk including into heterotroph. They have specialised teeth and
stomachs to enable them to get the energy they need from the bodies of other animals.
Hawk and snake are carnivores animals but hawk have a higher ranking than the snake. So the hawk can eat snake.

DECOMPOSER
Decomposers are the biotic components that function to decompose organic matter coming from dead organisms or the discharge of digestion residue.
Absorb any dead material and break it down into simple nutrients or fertilizers
Microorganisms that are able to break down large molecules into smaller parts
Decomposers return the nutrients that are in a living thing to the soil

FUNGI
Fungi is a decomposer. Fungi decompose the consumers
that was dead. The product of decomposers are
used by producers.

Web Chain
Web Chain is a collection of food chains that correspond to each other.
In the wild, animals may eat more than one thing, so they belong to more than one food chain.
To get the food they need, small herbivores may eat lots of different plants, and carnivores may eat many different animals.
Food webs show what eats what in order to gain the energy it needs to live.

Summary
Combined food chains make food webs.
Food webs start with the sun Food webs contain producers,
consumers, and decomposers. We are part of the food web, too!
