Day by day photo hunting tours became more and more popu-lar around the world! And Ukraine is a real paradise for such hunters. Because of high altitudes and dif-ferent landscapes we have very rich flora and fauna. Ukraine has a great potential to become the hottest photohunt-ing spot in Europe. As compared to Europe in Ukraine we have saved wild nature and animal species. A number of national parks and na-thional preservations will amaze you with nature and history. All tours are ecologi- cally friendly.

Carpathian Biosphere Reserve – UNESCO site UNESCO protected vir-gin beech forests. Roll-ing mountains, pristine lakes, bears – is not the full list of what you can see in this biggest Euro-pean natural preserva-tion. The Carpathian Biosphere Reserve is one of the most impor-tant protected areas in Ukraine. It represent examples of

on-going post-glacial biological and ecological evolution of ecosys-tems. They represent an outstanding example of undisturbed, complex temperate forests and exhibit the most com-plete and comprehen-sive ecological patterns and processes of pure stands of European beech across a variety of environmental condi-tions. They contain an invaluable genetic

reservoir of beech and many species associated and dependent on these forest habitats. The highest point is Mt.Hoverla (2061 m.a.s.l.) – Ukraine’s highest peak. PH

Polissia – the mysteri-ous territory on the border of Ukraine and Belorussia. Until 19th century a very little was known about this ter-ritory. Even scientific expeditions passed by these impenetrable swamps and needleleaf wildwood forests.Only at the end of 19th century after the climate change due to which swamps became

smaller the firs expedi-tors came here. They were amazed finding couple of villages among these forests, where people still live in wooden houses stiffed with moss and worship pagan tra-ditions.Today Polissia is nation-al reserve. The director of the Polissia reserve is one of the best ex-perts of wild animals in Europe. The personally guides excursions and due to his inspiration and deep knowledge of the territory you will be amazed of what you will see and what you will hear.

The virgin steppe of Askania Nova – the last such area in Europe and Byriuchyi island – Ukrai-nian Safari are heaven for photohunters.Askania Nova is a biosphere reserve which covers 33,307.6 hectares in Kherson-ska oblast (district) in Ukraine. The reserve consists of the acclima-tization zoo, botani-cal garden and virgin steppe preserve. In ad-dition to local species it hosts ostriches, bisons, antelopes, wild horses, llamas, zebras and many bird species. The reserve is also known for the group of Przewalski’s

Horse, the largest group kept in captivity. If you travel not far South from Askania Nova and swim 40 min-utes by boat through Azov sea you will get to Byriuchyi island. Dears, foxes, rabbits, llamas live there in free condi-tions. Equipped with your photo camera on open cars you will drive through the island. One more miracle in this region is Syvash lake – little “dead sea” between Azov and Black Sea. Many years ago the salt from this lake was transported by kozaks in Europe. It was number one salt in the world.
