Thank you for choosing Eco-Grip slip-resistant safety flooring. We strive to provide the nation’s

best commercial flooring product coupled with top-notch service you can trust. Now that we are

nearing the end of your Eco-Grip installation, we want to make sure you are 100% satisfied with

your finished flooring product. Our technicians will walk the job with you after they finish

installation and request a sign-off on the project. We want to make sure you are happy with

what you see, so please look for neat and clean details like the ones you see below. We do

recognize that each site is going to present its own special problems and that modifications

might be made to accommodate unique features, especially if it is an existing building in which

we completed a retrofit floor, but the end result should always be a sealed, neat and tidy

installation.

Floor Drains and Clean-Outs: Please notice that the floor surface, stainless drain collars, and

drain lids are all flush with each other. All routed edges are clean and tight to the fixture lids and

the stainless collars. There should be no router shavings or concrete in the drains.

Floor Sinks, Trench Drains, Grease Traps: The floor surface, stainless flange, and trench

drain grates should all be flush with each other. Trench Drains and Grease Traps should

always be terminated with a stainless steel flange. Floor sinks can be sealed with either

stainless flanges or SpeedFlex. Note that all edges are sealed, and neat with no smears of

SpeedFlex on the fixture.

Seams: All seams should be an even width (⅜” finished width), straight, and smooth, and filled flush with the floor surface.

Wall Base and Base Trim Details: Eco-Grip is installed with an integral cove base. The cove should line up from sheet to sheet. There are occasions when installers cannot complete an integral cove, and will install flat base instead. This is an approved manufacturer’s detail, but it should be used on a limited basis to address things like cabinetry cubbys, curved/angled walls, wall end caps, or to make accomodations for installations with existing wall or subfloor conditions.

Base Trim secures your flooring to your walls, and protects your flooring edges from both water penetration and damage from equipment bumps. You should see all corners filled neatly with our clear trim sealant. Corner cuts will be small, and corners will be secured. Screws will be evenly spaced. Base Trim should be level across all walls.

If your flooring does not look like this, please speak with your Project Manager and provide them

with photos of the areas in question immediately. They will instruct the installation crew to

correct these concerns before leaving the site. Please also discuss these concerns with the

installation team and they will be happy to make adjustments before you provide the job

sign-off.

Additionally, the installation crew should provide you with a complete cleaning kit and a

demonstration of our cleaning procedures. Please speak with your Project Manager if you need

additional information or materials for your new Eco-Grip safety floor.

Finally, the installation crew should leave your place of business in a neat and orderly condition.

All trash should be placed in the dumpster you provided, or hauled off the site by the installers.
