ECM EDUCATION

ECM Education currently provides a full range of support services for schools locally, nationally and internationally.

We have supported colleagues in very different schools, with varied needs and requirements for more than 10

years.

ECM understands that effective school leadership is critical in improving educational outcomes, promoting high

expectations and meeting the rigorous demands of Ofsted and the DfE. Our Leadership Partners support and

strengthen leadership at all levels, empowering headteachers, governors and senior leaders to build leadership

capacity, deliver whole-school improvement, secure better teaching and learning, and manage complex

organisations more effectively.

The three directors John Evans, Phil Choi and Mark Mullin (ECM), completed their second headships in July 2010,

having had extensive experience in education as Head Teachers, School Improvement Partners, Local Authority

Advisors, Ofsted inspectors and NCSL Consultants. The ECM directors have also carried out Local Authority

Advisory work and training, offered support for schools in challenging circumstances, and are currently working

alongside and supporting schools across the UK and abroad.

Headteacher Performance Management (HTPM)

Overview

Head Teacher Performance Management with ECM is a 4 hour process.

It can be accessed Face to Face in school or Online.

We provide:

Independent external advice for members of the governing board when

completing the headteacher performance management process

Our service includes:

- All paperwork, guidance material & agenda for HTPM

- Advice on the requirements for headteacher performance management

- Ensuring that governors are aware of their roles in the process

- Support for governors in evaluating headteacher performance

- Advice on setting objectives taking into account the school’s context

- Advice on the provision of head teacher CPD

for our MAT allowed us to effectively evaluate our school effectiveness under the new framework and set clear priorities for the

year ahead, as the documentation to support Headteacher Performance Management and School Improvement is rigorous and

robust.

The following Leadership Partner support was then carefully tailored to the exact needs of our school in order to maximise
