sAul At ElMirA vs. tHE sunyACSince his arrival in 2009, Coach Saul has seen success against teams in the SUNYAC Conference, going 23-13-2. His best year against the SUNYAC was in 2010-11 when his Soaring Eagles went 7-2-1.

sAul in novEMbErDuring his time with the Soaring Eagles, head coach Aaron Saul ’98 has seen a great deal of success during the month of November. His teams over the years have gone 19-9-2 with an impressive 12-3-0 mark at the Mur-ray Athletic Center.

tHird in tHE nAtionElmira’s power play unit has done big things in the early stages of the 2013-14 season. As a team, the Soaring Eagles have gone 8-for-23 on power play chances, scoring 34.8 percent of the time when they are in a man-up situation.

FiFtH in tHE nAtionSpecial teams have obviously been a strength for the Soaring Eagles this year. Their combined special teams ranks fifth in the country as they have been successful on 32-of-51 situations; Elmira has successfully killed 24-of-28 opponent power play opportunities.

All-tiME vs. broCkPortThe Soaring Eagles hold a pretty significant edge in the all-time series, leading Brockport 33-4-2. Their first meeting dates back to the 1973-74 season.

WHEn EC sCorEs First...Elmira is a perfect 2-0 this season when they have scored first. Over the last three seasons, Elmira has gone 18-9-2 when scoring first.

tHE lAst tiME WitH tHrEE PP goAls...Elmira scored three power play goals against Utica, an early season high for the Soaring Eagles. The last time Elmira scored three or more power play goals was last year in a 9-4 win over Morrisville State when EC scored four power play goals.

CoACH sAul vs. broCkPortAs head coach of the Purple and Gold, head coach Aaron Saul ’98 has a slight edge over the Golden Eagles as he owns a 2-1-0 record against Brockport.

All-tiME vs. osWEgoThings couldn’t be any closer in the all-time series against the Lakers as the series record stands at 44-44-5. Like Brockport, Oswego is one of El-mira’s oldest opponents as the first meeting between the two teams dates back to the 1973-74 season.

CoACH sAul vs. osWEgoThe Lakers have gotten the better of Coach Saul during his time with the Soaring Eagles as Oswego has gone 8-1. Coach Saul’s lone win dates back to his first season at the helm of the EC program during the 2009-10 season.
