A plum is a drupe—which means a pitted fruit. Can you name three other fruits with pits? (Answer on the next slide…)

Plums and Prunes

Prunes are dried plums. Prunes are high in soluble fiber, which is known to lower blood-cholesterol levels.

Prunes also contain B vitamins and iron. (Not that kind of iron!)
